Omoto is located in the Kyoto Nishijin area of Kyoto City, an area famous for its weaving culture and practice of tea ceremony. This historic area is being revitalized with new shops, creating an exciting mix of tradition with the modern. Being slightly removed from the bustle of the city, the neighborhood offers a more relaxed atmosphere. Just to the north of us is Daitokuji Temple. The Imperial Palace, Nijo Castle, and Kinkakuji are also nearby. With the Horikawa Ginko Promenade, and the cherry blossoms and maple leaves of the Kamo River, you’ll be able to enjoy the four seasons of Kyoto.
